Liner and welding calculators
Work out how much geomembrane a basin needs, how many rolls that is, how many metres of seam your crew will weld, and how long the machine will take.
Three tools
- Pond and reservoir liner calculatorEnter the top dimensions, depth and batter slope. Returns sheet size, area including waste, roll count by thickness and approximate seam length.
- Seam length and welding timeTurns a lined area into metres of wedge seam, machine hours at your welding speed, and the days that represents on site.
- Thickness converter, mil to mmConverts mil, millimetres, microns and inches, and tells you which stocked grade the figure corresponds to.
What these are for, and what they are not
These give you a defensible number in thirty seconds, which is usually what you need when someone asks how much a job will cost or how long it will take. They are estimating tools for budgeting and planning.
They are not a cutting schedule or a panel layout. Real take-offs account for panel orientation, the anchor trench detail, penetrations, batter transitions and how the material actually rolls out on your subgrade. Two engineers can produce different panel layouts for the same basin and both be right.
If you have dimensions and want a proper take-off with a quotation against it, send them to us and we will do it.
This sits alongside the wider set of plastic welding equipment we supply from Dubai.
Have a drawing rather than dimensions?
Send the layout and we will take off the liner quantity, the seam length and the machine time, then quote sheet and welding plant against it.
